Conclusion

I didn’t know it then.  When I washed my own china dishes or stacked golden blocks in Montessori pre-school, or when my father let me “help” him build a new bedroom with my plush tools, or paint the baseboard with a little paintbrush, or even when we rebuilt our first antique car – an MGB. I didn’t know that I was learning, or what I was learning – confidence, self-respect, how to perform better in all things, how to fail and feel good about it, how to walk a little taller, and how to help others.  I am so grateful that I can live in a community that nurtures all of me – and that I have parents who are committed to making sure that my life is full of all kinds of experiences.

My hope is to advocate for those who do not have this support, or this privilege. As I continue my educational journey, I hope that you will help me to help others in finding confidence, self-esteem, creativity, performance success -- and definitely their inner superpowers.
